LISTEN: Liars Live At Studio Mute

Play a new recording of Vox Tuned D.E.D. before the band play Mute's Mexican festival this weekend

This Saturday, March 21, sees an impressive cluster of Mute’s roster heading to Valentín Gómez Farías in Tlaquepaque, Mexico for a one-day festival. Not only are Liars, Ben Frost and Land Observations performing live, but Vince Clarke, Apparat, Daniel Miller and Irmin Schmidt will be DJing and there’ll even be a set from special guests, Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark. The label are warming up for the main event now, in fact, with Schmidt in conversation and DJing tonight at Fonoteca Nacional in Mexico City, followed by screenings of Showing Our Hobby Is Depeche Mode and The Epic Of Everest tomorrow at Museo Pantaléon Panduro, Guadalajara.

To further whet appetites, Mute have kindly given us a play of Liars playing ‘Vox Tuned D.E.D.’ from 2014’s Mess, recorded last year in Mute’s West London studios. Give it a play above, with full details of the festival, and a mix from Vince Clarke, over at Mute’s website.
