Liars have been hinting at a new album for a while, and now we’ve got the concrete detail that it’ll be out in March of next year, as The Line Of Best Fit report, a date that flashes up at the end of the 30-second trailer that they’ve just released, which also gives us a taster of what we might expect sonically and unfurls a possible album cover – that’s it above – have a watch of the trailer below.
Earlier this year, they talked to Red Bull Music Channel about the new music they were working on, saying: "[It’s] less cerebral, it’s more going for it and having fun with it… It’s got to do with having less concern, and more reaction and impulse – that’s where that stuff comes from. With [2012 album] WIXIW we spent a lot of time thinking about it, and it’s nice to just riff, and freak out."
