Laboratorio de Electrónica Visual (L.E.V.) festival will return this October, this year taking place at Centro de Creación Contemporánea Matadero Madrid after 13 years in the Spanish coastal city of Gijón.
The festival will take over various parts of the venue, hosting audiovisual shows, performances, installations and more. Morton Subotnick, Lillevan & Alec Empire are billed to play live together, while there are also live performances locked in from Plaid (presenting their latest album, Polymer), Aïsha Devi, Djrum, Alessandro Cortini, Emptyset, Kelly Moran, Ryoichi Kurokawa, Francisco López and Sega Bodega.
Further early highlights for this year’s line-up include Russell Haswell and Powell coming together for a live audiovisual show as HP, Nkisi playing live and Eli Keszler & Nate Boyce teaming up for a live performance also. More acts will be announced in the coming months.
