Lee Gamble Announces Second Part Of Triptych

'Exhaust' sees Gamble delve further into the 'Semioblitz' theory

Lee Gamble is set to release a new EP via Hyperdub in November.

Titled Exhaust, it is the second part of a trilogy of records, titled Flush Real Pharynx, which sees Gamble delve into the ‘Semioblitz’ theory, a term once used by the late Mark Fisher. The theory, a press release explains, focuses on "the aggressive onslaught of visual and sonic stimuli of contemporary cities and virtual spaces."

The first EP in the series, In A Paraventral Scale, which came out in February of this year, introduced the Semioblitz concept. You can listen to Exhaust‘s lead track ‘Glue’ above.

Exhaust, a press release continues, "explores the world as we know it – explosive, chaotic, unpredictable, contradictory, intoxicating, hyper-colourful, blown-apart and disturbingly engaging in its surreality."

Hyperdub will release Exhaust on November 15, 2019.
