Le Guess Who? festival had already announced an ace line-up, with Einstürzende Neubauten, St. Vincent Ben Frost, Dean Blunt, Owen Pallett, Trans Am, Tamikrest, tUnE-yArDs, A Winged Victory For The Sullen, Sharon Van Etten and Ought all heading to Utrecht in the Netherlands from November 20-23.
Now they’ve had Swans’ Michael Gira pull a monumental surprise out of his hat in the shape of Mouth To Mouth, a programme curated by the man himself, which will see Swans, Wire, Prurient, Xiu Xiu, Jenny Hval, Silver Apples, Sir Richard Bishop, Carla Bozulich, Silver Apples, Xylouris White and Father Murphy, among others, all lining up, alongside Savages and Bo Ningen playing their "sonic simultaneous poem" Words To The Blind, as announced yesterday. Not only that, but there’ll be 24-Hour Dronefest, which is exactly as mighty as that sounds, particularly when we know that Stephen O’Malley, William Basinski, Tim Hecker, Raime and Steve Hauschildt are the first names to be announced for it. And with that news, we’ll simply point you in the direction of the festival’s website for tickets…
