Following the monumental announcement of a Swans-curated programme, featuring Wire, Prurient, Jenny Hval and more, alongside 24-Hour Dronefest, featuring Stephen O’Malley, William Basinski and a host of other embarrassment-of-riches-making figures, Le Guess Who?, the Utrecht event running from November 20-23, has now made further additions. Heading these up is pioneering electronics pair Autechre, who will also be joined by Rodion G.A., the Romanian synth veteran who saw a resurgence with last year’s The Lost Tapes album, Sleaford Mods, Iceage, Perfume Genius, White Lung, Hieroglyphic Being, Jozef van Wissem and Mdou Moctar, the ace Tuareg guitarist.
Not only that but the Austin Psych Fest will be staging an outpost on the opening night, featuring the mighty Loop, Tamikrest, Fumaça Preta, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. As ever, tickets and full details are over at the website.
