Third edition of Polish festival starting tomorrow in Łódź

LDZ is a small independent festival set in Łódź in Poland, featuring an all-Polish line-up, which has the Quietus has partnered with this year. Having only started in 2012, the festival has now expanded enough to be split into three parts. Tomorrow, June 6, will host the "Experimental Scene" in the Bajkonur venue, and will include such artists as experimental electronica and hip hop duo Syny, theatrical music group 11 who take their influence from futurism, punk and industrial music and visual artist Wojciech Bakowski who accompanies his animations with his own music.

The following day will see the "Club Scene" event take place at the Lokal club in Łódź city centre, featuring more dance-oriented electronica artists like Chicago acid devotee Chino, dub techno duo RSS Boys and dark ambient producer Gaap Kvlt.

The "Special Event" will conclude the event in the city’s Museum of Art, with noise rockers BNNT performing with a self-made stereophonic string instrument called BOMB, as well as sound artist Pawel Kuczynski. For more info and tickets, head to the festival’s website here.
