LCD Soundsystem have revealed details of a new live album, titled Electric Lady Sessions.
Set for release next month, it features live renditions of six tracks from their 2017 LP American Dream, as well as older tracks ‘Get Innocuous!’, ‘You Wanted A Hit’ and ‘Home’. There are also some covers included in the form of Chic’s ‘I Want Your Love’, Heaven 17’s ‘(We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang’ and The Human League’s ‘Seconds’. You can hear the Heaven 17 cover, which was originally shared late last year, above.
Electric Lady Sessions is LCD Soundsystem’s fourth live album and was recorded at Jimi Hendrix’s New York studio of the same name.
DFA will release Electric Lady Sessions on February 8, 2019.
