LCD Soundsystem’s April 2011 concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden is being reissued in a 5xLP box set.
Out next month, the reissue of The Long Goodbye: LCD Soundsystem Live At Madison Square Garden is happening to mark the original show’s 10th anniversary. The near-four-hour set was originally due to be their last ever, before they reunited in 2015.
The live album was originally released in April 2014, and has fetched fairly high resale prices since via Discogs. It includes live renditions of tracks such as ‘Daft Punk Is Playing At My House’, ‘New York, I Love You But You’re Bringing Me Down’, ‘Losing My Edge’, ‘All My Friends’ and ‘Drunk Girls’.
DFA / Parlophone / Warner Music will release The Long Goodbye: LCD Soundsystem Live At Madison Square Garden on August 6, 2021.
