Unseen Worlds Lines Up Laurie Spiegel Reissues

Laurie Spiegel's 1991 album Unseen Worlds is to be pressed to vinyl for the first time

Reissue label Unseen Worlds has confirmed plans for a pair of reissues of old works by Laurie Spiegel.

The label will reissue the 1991 album from which it took its name in January. The album was originally only made available on CD – copies of which have since become hard to come by – and this new release will see it officially available to purchase on vinyl for the first time. Spiegel produced the album from an algorithmic computer programme called Music Mouse which she created herself.

The second of Unseen Worlds’ upcoming Spiegel reissues will see her classic album The Expanding Universe available in a new, extended triple-vinyl edition. The label originally reissued the record in 2012, but this new vinyl edition will take in extra tracks which featured on the double-CD reissue.

Both reissues will be available via Unseen Worlds from January 19.
