Laurel Halo, the synth/electronics artist whose Quarantine album was one of this year’s more intriguing and unsettling listens, has announced an extensive tour of the UK and Europe this autumn.
The tour will find her premiering a new audiovisual show with visual work by Tom Scholefield, aka Konx-Om-Pax, who has previously made artwork and videos for the likes of Oneohtrix Point Never and Hudson Mohawke.
"I wanted to create other worldly environments filled with gravitydefying plasma sculptures, beams of light shining through misty organic mutant plant life," says Scholefield of his visuals for the tour. "Alongside floating metallic space station very much inspired by Moebius and Ron Cobb." UPDATE: You can now watch a trailer premiering his visuals below.
