LaToya Jackson Scene Pulled Prior to Bruno US Premiere

Sacha Baron-Cohen’s new film, Bruno, underwent a last-minute edit following yesterday’s news of Michael Jackson’s death. The scene that was cut involves Cohen’s most recent satirical incarnation, Bruno, trying to find Jacko’s number on LaToya’s BlackBerry. The scene ends abruptly after an incensed LaToya cuts the interview short following Bruno reading aloud Jacko’s supposed phone number. Universal Studios stated the scene was removed ‘out of respect for Jackson’s family’.

In addition to this, the Bruno premiere has also managed to prevent Jacko’s fans from paying tribute to the King Of Pop due to his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame being cordoned off prior to the event. This has lead to many devotees congregating around LA-based radio commentator Michael Jackson’s star.
