BBC Radio 3 show Late Junction will team up with the Barbican early next year for two days of gigs at recently opened Dalston venue EartH.
The radio show’s inaugural festival will host the likes of This Is Not This Heat, Gazelle Twin, Hen Ogledd, Mica Levi and Coby Sey’s CURL, O Yama O and CHAINES across two days.
There are more names to be announced in the run-up to the festival with the show’s much-loved monthly Collaboration Session format set to throw up some surprises at the festival, continuing the radio show’s tradition of giving us impromptu ensembles made up of different acts. There’s also a live Late Junction Mixtape promised, as well as free daytime talks from BBC Radio 3’s Free Thinking arts and ideas programme.
You can find more information on Late Junction’s first festival, which runs from February 28 – March 1, here and here.
