For Golden Cabinet’s last outing of 2015, the Bradford night will be hosting Berlin’s Oake for their first ever appearance in the North of England and second ever appearance anywhere in the UK. The duo have been gathering considerable attention off the back of a number of releases on Regis’ Downwards label with the Golden Cabinet team describing them thusly: “If Samuel Kerridge remixed Dead Can Dance, it would probably sound something like Oake.”
Also appearing on the night will be Chrononautz following their Noments LP with tQ’s very own label earlier this year. The set will see them delivering another in a line of visceral live techno sets after their highlight showing at the Plex/Bleed/Them party at London’s Corsica Studios earlier this month.
There are also appearances from Smut and DJ Cataclyst while Trainer Trouble will host another last night after party at Merchant Quays starting immediately after Golden Cabinet with Flamegriller, live hip-hop from EXP/JND/ADDVERSE, Golden Cabinet DJs and a number of others. There will also be food and good beer on offer and discounted entry of course to those who attended Golden Cabinet. Golden Cabinet itself takes place at The Kirkgate Centre in Shipley on December 5 and you can get tickets here and find out more information here.
