Laibach Detail New EP, ‘Love Is Still Alive’

They've also shared lead track 'Love Is Still Alive I (Moon, Euphoria)'

Laibach are set to kick off 2023 with the release of a new EP, Love Is Still Alive.

Spanning eight tracks, the EP is set in a dystopian landscape in which Earth and the Moon have been destroyed. Setting out the story, press materials read: "The remnants of mankind are hurling across the Universe on a single spacecraft, carrying the lucky few who have been saved from annihilation. They are heading for Mars, where all life once originated."

The EP is said to be an extension of music that Laibach created for the film Iron Sky – The Coming Race, which is scheduled for release sometime in 2023, alongside a specially created video game. Ahead of that, Love Is Still Alive will be released across CD and digital formats, while a vinyl edition will also be made available in March. You can preview the EP via lead track ‘Love Is Still Alive I (Moon, Euphoria)’ above.

Mute will release Love Is Still Alive on January 20, 2023.
