Kuedo Returns With New Album, ‘Infinite Window’

The follow-up to 2016's 'Slow Knife' marks the UK artist's signing to Brainfeeder

Kuedo has shared details of his third studio album, Infinite Window.

Out in July, the album is his first for Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder, following 2011’s Severant and 2016’s Slow Knife, both released on Planet Mu. It sees the UK producer continue an affiliation with Flying Lotus first established when the two worked together on the 2017 animated film Blade Runner: Black Lotus. Above, you can listen to lead track ‘Sliding Through Our Fingers’, which Kuedo likened in a statement to "a feeling of how time slides past us."

Speaking further about the album as a whole, the producer said: "I’m split between thinking about what makes spacey, synth-driven music production work, what makes rap and UK jungle work, and what makes pop and R&B work. I found myself turning more to what I just enjoy listening to, or to what’s really endured through history, even if it’s new to me. I realised that old music can speak to the current moment as well as or better than new music, particularly in terms of ecological, planetary anxieties, and hopes too."

Brainfeeder will release Infinite Window on July 29, 2022.
