Yesterday, Grönland released Japandorf (artwork above), the final record by Klaus Dinger, formerly of Neu! and La Düsseldorf.
Dinger produced the album with a group of Japanese musicians and artists living in Düsseldorf, including Kazuyuki Onouchi, Satoshi Okamoto and his wife Miki Yui, calling the band Klaus Dinger & Japandorf. The album was recorded between 2000 and 2007 and completed by Onouchi and Yui in 2010, following Dinger’s untimely death two years previously.
