Klara Lewis And Nik Colk Void Unveil New Album, ‘Full-On’

The duo's first full-length record together will be released via Alter

Klara Lewis and Nik Colk Void have come together for a new collaborative album, titled Full-On.

Out in June, the 17-track record takes in guitars, synths, modular systems, vocals and samples, and arrives off the back of a series of improvised live shows by the duo. Void likens Full-On to "being sat next to someone on a train browsing Instagram with the sound up… mixing genres, as though the algorithm has made a mistake." You can get a taste of the album via lead track ‘Work It Out’ above.

Speaking further about Full-On, Lewis said in a statement: "Exchanging ideas in the way we did gave a new perspective, discussion and form – we would pick up what aspect one liked from the other and elaborate the idea by treating, shaping, letting it grow using processes we would use on our own sounds. Like remixing, reworking each other’s ideas one at a time – passing over and trusting the other to develop further."

Alter will release Full-On on June 30, 2023.
