King Midas Sound and JK Flesh are playing the first of their two gigs presented by The Quietus and Supersonic Festival tomorrow, at Eastside Projects in Birmingham.
They’ll be playing their second gig at Corsica Studios in London on August 9. The Birmingham date will have Iron Fist Of The Sun, Laurence Hunt and Sarah Farmer supporting.
We’re massively excited about these two taster sets for Supersonic 2012, which takes place 19th-21st October in Birmingham. The shows will be the first time King Midas Sound’s Kevin Martin and JK Flesh’s Justin Broadrick have shared a stage since 2010’s festival, when KMS went head to head with Godflesh.
We’ve been promised that the King Midas Sound System will be dropping exclusive dubs, versions and remixes as well as bleeding other artists’ music into their deep, dark lovers’ dub, while Broadrick, under his revived JK Flesh moniker, will be playing caustic post-industrial metal/dub.
