Kick, Push Up Daisies: Rapper No More?

Lupe Fiasco set to retire after third album

Would you Adam and Eve it? Er not really, no, but speculation is mounting that Lupe Fiasco will retire from music after the release of his third album LupEND.

The Chicago rapper – born Wasalu Muhammad Jaco – has talked about quitting before, but the title of his new record would appear to confirm what he told Billboard in December last year.

He said: "LupEND – that’s going to be my last album’s title. When you play a video game, you can only put in three letters for your name and when the game’s over, those three letters and ‘END’ pop up. My next record might be my last one."

The letters "END" in the album title apparently stand for "everywhere", "nowhere" and "down here". A release date for the record has yet to be confirmed.

Fiasco has released two albums to date, 2006’s Grammy-nominated Food & Liquor, and last year’s concept album-ish The Cool.
