Samuel Kerridge will return to Regis’ Downwards label in January with the release of a new album, entitled Fatal Light Attraction, and you can check out a trailer for the album above.
The album is based on concept music written for the Fatal Light Attraction performance that the techno producer premiered at August’s Berlin Atonal festival. The performance saw Kerridge working alongside Andrej Boleslavský & Mária Júdová to control a system of live coding that responds in real time to Kerridge’s audio creating “the illusion of a moving shadow.” The album follows on from the release of the producer’s last full-length release, Always Offended Never Ashamed, earlier this year. Fatal Light Attraction is out in January 2016.
