Karl Hyde Plans Book Retrospective

Underworld member collects diary entries and photos to create snapshot of life as part of the pioneering duo

Underworld’s Karl Hyde is set to release a new book containing a collection of diaries and photographs from across his career.

The book, which will be published by Faber & Faber, takes in entries from Hyde’s public diary which he began writing in 1999, documenting thoughts, lyrics and poetry. Entitled I Am Dogboy, a selection of diary entries feature, intercut with autobiographical words from Hyde, taking in his childhood years through to his time as part of Underworld. The book is designed by Hyde’s longtime collaborator John Warwicker and will be available to buy from November 3.
