It’s been a couple of years since Karin Park’s single ‘Blue Roses’, and even longer since we got a full length from her.
However, she has returned this week with a new song and video, ‘Empire Rising’, which is taken from forthcoming album Church of Imagination. You can watch the video for the new track above.
‘Empire Rising’ is a special song for Park, as it was recorded in a church in Sweden while the video was recorded in Japan – the two countries in which she grew up. The video was shot in collaboration with Fujifilm in Tokyo, Japan, working with Norwegian artists Laukli & Laukli and Azuma Makoto to create the striking imagery.
Church of Imagination is out on March 13, and Park has a string of live dates coming up for which you can find details here.
