Kali Malone has a new album on the way, titled All Life Long.
Spanning 12 pieces, the new record features the US artist’s first compositions for organ since her 2019 breakthrough LP The Sacrificial Code. Malone worked on the new album between 2020 and 2023, with it also taking in pieces made for voice and brass, performed by Macadam Ensemble and Anima Brass. The pieces for organ are performed by Malone herself, with additional accompaniment by Stephen O’Malley, on four different organs dating from the 15th to 17th centuries. Ideologic Organ will release All Life Long on February 9, 2024.
