Experimental LA multi-instrumentalist Julia Holter has just posted the third track off her forthcoming Loud City Song album, her follow-up to last year’s Ekstasis, out on August 20 through Domino. It’s a romantic cut, swells of soundtrack strings overwriting jazzy instrumentation, which forms one half of the album’s Gigi-inspired core tracks. The images accompanying the track are shots taken by Rick Bahto showing the album’s recording session.
Holter will be setting out on tour in the UK and Ireland in November, following a couple of festival slots beginning next week:
