Juan Atkins is lining up a new EP for release as part of his Cybotron project.
The esteemed electro outfit was revived from a 28-year new release hiatus last year with the release via Tresor of the Maintain The Golden Ratio EP, and it will now be followed on the same label with a two track record, titled Parallel Shift. You can listen to the title track below.
Having originally been conceived as a two-man project consisting of Atkins and Rik Davis, the current Cybotron production lineup takes in Atkins and Laurens von Oswald. The two also began playing live shows under the Cybotron banner in 2019, together with Detroit In Effect’s DJ Maaco completing the live lineup.
Tresor will release Parallel Shift on November 1, 2024.
