Johnny Marr has backed Nigel Farage to replace him on guitar for the long-mooted Smiths reunion.
Asked by a fan on Twitter whether the 10,000th rumour of a reunion with his old bandmate might be true, the guitarist simply said: "Nigel Farage on guitar".
Morrissey’s latest album, the covers LP California Son was released earlier this year amid a slew of declarations of far-right support from the singer. Marr’s last record was 2018’s Call The Comet.
