WIN: John Doran At If Wet Tickets

Win tickets to see the tQ editor at If Wet in Worcester this Sunday

As you’ll likely know by now, tQ editor John Doran is currently traversing the rolling hills and concrete jungles of sunny England with Norwegian noise artist Årabrot in support of his new book, Jolly Lad. This Sunday, May 10, the tour stops through Worcester with a performance at the Callow End village hall. It’s been put together by If Wet, purveyors of the wonderful village hall esotericism that we were smitten with at last year’s Supersonic. Back then, their "rural and unusual experimenting [and] 3D printed woodpeckers that, in installation, are set up to peck roof beams and pillars of art galleries" brought Digbeth’s concrete some village hall warmth. The event will also feature readings from Josephine Dickinson and Sarah Angliss.

Full details and tickets are over at If Wet’s website, but the good folks there have kindly given us a pair of tickets to give away to one reader. To be in with a chance of winning, just send an e-mail to comps@thequietus.com, with ‘IF WET’ in the subject line. The competition closes at midday, Friday 8 May, after which we’ll pick the winners at random. To read the Quietus Competition Terms & Conditions, click here.
