Joe Satriani To Sue Coldplay?

Lawyers will be on hand to serve writ at Grammys

According to reports from the US, lawyers acting for Joe Satriani are preparing to serve Colplay with a writ for plagarism at this weekend’s Grammy Awards.

The controvery arises from the title track of Coldplay’s most recent album ‘Viva La Vida’, the melody for which Satriani claims was nicked from his instrumental piece ‘I Just Wanna Fly’.

Fox News reports that Satriani’s lawyer Howard King has got his minions following the group while they’re in town for the Grammy ceremony. "We have warned their British lawyers that we have hired a fleet of process servers lined up to dog the band everywhere they go this weekend in the hopes of serving them," King said.

Coldplay deny the accusations.
