Jockstrap are releasing a remix album to accompany their 2022 LP I Love You Jennifer B.
I<3UQTINVU – I Love You Cutie, I Envy You is a fully remixed version of the original record by the duo’s Taylor Skye. To mark the record’s announcement, Jockstrap have shared lead track ‘Red Eye’, featuring Ian Starr, which you can watch a video for above. "I love making songs that push the limits of my vocality and energy, and I went all-out in efforts to craft the craziest performance possible on ‘Red Eye’," Starr said of the track.
Commenting on I<3UQTINVU – I Love You Cutie, I Envy You, Skye said in a statement: "Some of these remixes are almost three years old and some are only six months old. I made most of them really quickly, in a day or so. It keeps me sane to do this whilst mixing the album. I don’t really remember making them. It’s like eating too much and then throwing up and this is what comes out. It’s a weird feeling but also really fun."
Rough Trade will release I<3UQTINVU – I Love You Cutie, I Envy You on November 3, 2023.
