UK music magazine Jockey Slut is publishing a tribute book to the late Andrew Weatherall.
The 160-page book, titled Andrew Weatherall: A Jockey Slut Tribute, includes all of Weatherall’s Jockey Slut interviews as well as numerous articles published across his career, from the mid-’80s to 2020. There’s also a new, 10,000-word oral history which features interviews with Bobby Gillespie, Danny Rampling, frequent collaborator Keith Tenniswood (AKA Radioactive Man) and others.
All proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Weatherall’s favourite charities: Amnesty International, Crisis, Multiple Sclerosis Society and Thrombosis UK. The book is available for pre-order now.
