Justin Broadrick has announced a new EP under his techno-oriented JK Flesh moniker set for release next month. Above, you can hear the title track, ‘Wasplike’.
Broadrick has a rather formidable reputation in the underground world, having been a crucial member of industrial-metal pioneers Godflesh, as well as half of the experimental electronic duo Techno Animal. Wasplike’s four tracks look to continue his strand of Regis-esque techno brutalism, with Broadrick also looking to punishing distortion to shape the record’s sound.
Wasplike is due out on June 15 via the Inner Surface Music label.
