WIN: Jimmy Cliff Tickets

The reggae kingpin's coming to the UK in June, and we've got two pairs of tickets to give away

Jamaican reggae pioneer Jimmy Cliff returned from an extended hiatus in 2012, first with the Sacred Fire EP and then last year’s Rebirth full-length. The album was produced by Rancid’s Tim Armstrong and featured a mixture of his own material and covers of cuts by The Clash, Joe Higgs and Rancid themselves. Keep an eye on the Quietus over the coming weeks for a full interview with Cliff about his career, and in the meantime have a watch of his Letterman performance of ‘One More’ from the album below.

He’s about to embark on a world tour this month, which sees him making stops in the UK in June and July – here are the dates:

JUNE

Sun 23 – O2 ABC, Glasgow

Mon 24 – The Plug, Sheffield

Tue 25 – O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London
