Jesu, the shoegaze metal project of Godflesh’s Justin K. Broadrick, have announced that they will be releasing a new album, Every Day I Get Closer To The Light From Which I Came, on September 23.
It’s their fifth LP and follows up 2011’s Ascension. According to the album announcement, the activity of the reunited Godflesh has impacted on Jesu’s sound, making for "a deeper, sombre, but more dynamic musical experience" than their last record.
