Jerusalem In My Heart are heading out on a tour of Europe and Canada over the next two months, in support of new album Qalaq.
The shows will see Jerusalem In My Heart’s core producer of Radwan Ghazi Moumnen play alongside the project’s newest member, Montréal-based filmmaker Erin Weisgerber, who will provide visual backing for the run of dates. The run of dates kicks off this Sunday (October 31) with a show at Brussels’ Botanique/Rotonde. Through November, they will play additional shows across Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. Jessica Moss, Thurston Moore Group and Ana Roxanne will provide support at some of the shows. Later in November, the duo head to Canada, kicking off with two shows at Montréal’s La Cinémathèque on November 26 and 27, following those dates with sets in Ottawa and Quebec on December 4 and 7 respectively. Released earlier this month, Qalaq saw Jerusalem In My Heart team up with a wide cast of collaborators, including Moor Mother, Lucrecia Dalt, Tim Hecker and Rabih Beaini, among others.
