The soundtrack for Beats, a recent film about Scotland’s underground rave scene in the ’90s, is to get a vinyl release.
The music for the film was selected by Optimo’s JD Twitch with the 13-track vinyl release set to include tracks from Carl Craig’s 69 alias, Orbital, Juan Atkins’ Model 500, Richie Hawtin as Plastikman, LFO, Leftfield and Twitch himself.
Beats was directed by filmmaker Brian Welsh and based on the play by Kieran Hurley. The soundtrack will be released on September 6. You can find full details, including the tracklist, here and watch a trailer for the film above.
