Jay-Z Compares ‘bloke from Oasis’ To Jock Strap

The Jigga shows support for Barrack Obama and takes Noel Gallagher down a peg or two with bracing new single 'Jockin' Jay-Z'

The Quietus today has received a track from the veteran hip hop artist Jay-Z. ‘Jockin’, is the currently unreleased track off his new album titled, Blueprint 3, set for release later this year. Although an exact date has not yet been announced, it is reported that Jay-Z’s long time rival and associate, Kanye West, will be producing the album.

The track holds the hip hopster’s political support for Obama’s campaign, "I Rock with Obama but I ain’t no politician" and simplistically sums up the "fucked up repression" with a less intricate response, "it’s just depressing".

‘Jockin’ also comprises many venomous jibes towards Noel Gallagher and sees Jay-Z spitting: "That bloke from Oasis said I couldn’t play guitar/someone should have told them I’m a f***ing rock star." Appropriately, Jay-Z then hits hard with a slight twist of Oasis’ crowd pulling ‘Wonderwall’, "Today is gonna be the day that I’m gonna throw it back to you" conveying clearly that this is Jay-Z’s ode to Noel.

Over a furious, rock sampling loop provided by the College Drop Out The Jigga lets us have it with both barrells:

"I’ve seen you jockin’ Jay-Z because he got a Mercedes and he knows about ladies. I’m so dope boy fresh. Jockin’ Jay-Z, seen you jockin’ Jay-Z."

"Jocking" being, of course, the age old pursuit of not being able to stop talking about someone because you wish to have sexual congress with them. The etymology being that the Oasis front man is like a jock-strap, comfortably supporting Jay-Z’s king kong balls.
