JASSS is to release her third studio album this September.
Titled Eager Buyers, the seven-track record will mark the inaugural release on the Spanish DJ and producer’s new label, AWOS. The LP takes inspiration from post-punk, post-rock and trip-hop, and features guest contributions from james K and Alias Error.
In a statement that explains the themes of Eager Buyers, JASSS said: “Whether you buy into the dream of capitalism or not, on a subconscious level, many people that lived through the 90s and 00s had capitalist hope from the 80s and 90s drummed into them. It was a promise of something that never came true. We put our faith in a mirage, and now we’re left in an existential void, struggling with a very real collapse.”
Eager Buyers follows 2021’s A World Of Service and 2017’s Weightless.
