This weekend, Light In The Attic will be bringing a number of artists together (remotely) for a special live-streamed concert.
The label has pulled together a bunch of friends and label artists to take part in the event, which will encourage viewers to donate money. 100% of all funds raised will go to the MusiCares initiative which is currently raising money for those in music affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Light In The Attic has pulled together a line-up that features Jarvis Cocker, Gruff Rhys, Devendra Banhart, Ben Gibbard, Gigi Masin, Inoyama Land, Barbara Lynn, Marcos Valle and Fred Armisen, amongst others.
The stream will kick off at midnight on April 3 via Light In The Attic’s YouTube channel.
Last week, Jarvis Cocker announced that the release of the first album from his JARV IS… project has been delayed to September due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
Light In The Attic recently reissued Japanese ambient pioneer Hiroshi Yoshimura’s highly sought-after 1986 album GREEN last month.
