Jarvis Cocker Details Memoir, ‘Good Pop, Bad Pop’

The book explores "Jarvis' unique life, Pulp, 20th century pop culture, the good times, and the mistakes he'd rather forget"

Jarvis Cocker will release his first memoir, Good Pop, Bad Pop, in 2022.

The book is premised on a loft clearout that prompts the artist to look back on "Pulp, 20th century pop culture, the good times, and the mistakes he’d rather forget," as the description reads. Cocker’s reflections, it adds, will shed light on his "writing and musicianship, performance and ambition, style and stagecraft." It follows on from a lyric collection, Mother Brother Lover, which Cocker released in 2011.

Vintage Digital will publish Good Pop, Bad Pop on May 26, 2022.
