Dexterous songwriter Jane Weaver celebrates the upcoming release of her fifth solo album with a launch show at First Chop Brewing Arm in Salford, Manchester on Friday 25 July. The Silver Globe will be released in the coming months on her own imprint Bird Records through ace Mancunian label, Finders Keepers Records. The album, recorded in a vicarage in the Peak District and Los Angeles’ Vox Recording Studios, utilises both studios’ wide range of analogue instruments, and features contributions from several musicians, including husband and Finders Keepers head Andy Votel and David Holmes.
Accompanied by visuals from filmmakers Kluncklick, Weaver will be performing every song from the album with a full live band. Support comes from Tender Prey, also part of the Bird Records roster, along with DJs from Bird and Finders Keepers. Tickets cost just £7 and are available from Billetto and We Got Tickets, and in person in Manchester from Piccadilly Records, Vinyl Exchange and Common, with the album available to pre-order here.
