Jane Weaver Details New LP, ‘Love In Constant Spectacle’

"A lot of the album's themes stem from interpretation and translation, observations and emotional cues," the artist says of the forthcoming record

Jane Weaver has shared details of a new album, called Love In Constant Spectacle.

Spanning 10 tracks, Weaver made the record together with producer John Parish, and took cues from international cinema, according to a press release. It marks her first full-length effort since 2021’s Flock LP, and is preceded by lead cut ‘Perfect Storm’, which opens the album, and can be listened to above. The artist previously shared the title track in November.

In a statement, Weaver said: "A lot of the album’s themes stem from interpretation and translation, observations and emotional cues. I love the nuances in translation on foreign film subtitles – sometimes it’s exaggerated or more beautiful, stand-alone statements that don’t make sense. but when accompanied by a visual image, we can see the scene play out."

Fire Records will release Love In Constant Spectacle on April 5, 2024.
