Jane Weaver To Rework Past Material

A new release from Jane Weaver will see her revisit material from her two previous albums

Jane Weaver has announced a new full-length project called Loops In The Secret Society.

The release sees Weaver return to tracks from her previous two albums – 2014’s The Silver Globe and 2017’s Modern Kosmology – reworking them as she did on a tour late last year and committing them to record. You can hear the new version of ‘Slow Motion’, which originally featured on Modern Kosmology, above.

Loops In The Secret Society, which sees Weaver teaming up with collaborators Henry Broadhead, PJ Phillipson and Andy Votel, is described as "a re-imagined journey through parts of both albums, with new ambient pieces primed and polished."

It takes in 22 tracks in total and will be released via Fire Records on June 21. You can pre-order it here, while Jane Weaver will follow its release with a pair of live shows at Manchester’s Yes (July 12) and London’s Southbank Centre (July 13).
