Jam City’s ‘Classical Curves’ LP Set For Reissue

The vinyl release comes with previously unreleased bonus tracks and photos from studio sessions

Jam City’s influential 2012 debut album Classical Curves is to be reissued on vinyl to mark its 10th anniversary.

Out next month via the UK artist’s own Earthly Records imprint, the reissue includes the full original album, as well as 10 bonus tracks of rarities and previously unreleased material. The set also includes photos from studio sessions and images that the producer took as research for the album’s cover art.

Originally released via Night Slugs, Classical Curves has since been widely credited as an influence on the deconstructed club sound that dominated clubs and dancefloors in the years that followed its original outing. It brings together metallic percussion, elements of the post-dubstep and UK bass music sound, and glossy ’80s-influenced synths. You can listen to the album just above.

The reissue of Classical Curves follows on from the release of Jam City’s third studio album, Pillowland, in 2020.

Earthly Records will release Classical Curves (Deluxe Reissue) on November 4, 2022.
