Jam City Previews New Album With Unhappy

First details of long-awaited second album announced by Night Slugs

Jam City has previewed the first track from his upcoming, highly anticipated second album, set for release early next year via Night Slugs, and you can stream it below.

The track, entitled ‘Unhappy’, sees the producer taking a vastly different, less club-oriented approach than that of his influential 2012 debut, Classical Curves, and 2013’s Club Constructions Vol. 6, both also released through Night Slugs, layering vocals – possibly, though not definitely, his own – over snatches of bass and ambient synths. It follows the sharing of his ‘Earthly III’ mix a couple of weeks ago, which was made up of similarly intriguing sounds. Jam City plays his first ever live show at Kraków’s Unsound festival this Saturday and more details on his upcoming album are expected soon.
