Dutch psych-pop maestro Jacco Gardner is set to release the next single, ‘Chameleon’, off his debut LP Cabinet Of Curiosities, out now via Trouble In Mind, and we’ve got an exclusive first play of the track’s video above.
It’s an excellent cut from the LP, marrying deftly finger-picked baroque guitar lines with a hefty dosing of Gardner’s favoured antique instrumentation – harpsichords and Mellotrons glint and glide in the background – over which he laces his immaculately-enunciated, Arthur Lee-esque vocals.
Gardner’s also about to embark on his first UK dates, taking a few festival spots alongside his headline tour:
