Islam Chpsy’s EEK have announced the released of their debut studio album, entitled KAHRABA, and you can check out previews for the album’s four tracks above.
Due to be released next week by Egyptian label Nashazphone, the album was recorded in downtown Cairo in late 2014. It takes in four tracks of Chipsy’s inimitably frenetic production style as well as "the band’s individual manoeuvrings of typical Egyptian standards". The new release follows 2014’s Live at the Cairo High Cinema Institute which you can treat yourself to a two-minute clip of below. KAHRABA can be pre-ordered, meanwhile, here.
