If you find yourself fancying a late-afternoon/early evening dance to techno, industrial, ambient and other sounds, ‘expertly’ mixed together into a ‘seamless’ ‘duvet’ of ‘music’ and then used as a bedrock for on the fly synthesizer and vocal manipulation experiments by an amazing singer dressed like a mermaid in Purgatory this weekend, then we may have just the ticket for you.
Interference is the combination of Natalie Sharp [The Lone Taxidermist] plus her table full of gadgets and a guest tune sequencer [who on this occasion is John Doran, tQ ed]. The pair are playing at Magic Corner, The Basement, CLF Cafe, Rye Wax, Peckham, South London, early evening on Sunday.
Doors open at 4pm, it’s only a fiver in and there will also be tunes from DJ Monkphat and Tullis Rennie. More details here.
And the best part of it all is the world’s ending, Line Of Duty is already over and Better Call Saul is appalling so there’s really no good reason to stay in.
