WRWTFWW To Reissue Inoyama Land Album

The Japanese duo's 1983 album 'Danzindan-Pojidon' has become highly sought-after on the resale market

A 1983 album by Japanese duo Inoyama Land is to be reissued by We Release Whatever The Fuck We Want (WRWTFWW).

The album, Danzindan-Pojidon, was originally released on Haruomi Hosono’s Yen Records, with the Yellow Magic Orchestra man also overseeing production duties of the record, which was Makoto Inoue and Yasushi Yamashita’s debut together. Original copies of the record have become highly sought-after in recent years, frequently selling for more than £100 on resale websites such as Discogs.

WRWTFWW’s reissue of the album marks the first time it’s been made available on vinyl outside of Japan since its original release. The new version will only be available on vinyl and comes with liner notes by Makoto Inoue.

The reissue of Danzindan-Pojidon is out on March 6. It follows in the wake of a number of other reissues by the label such as Midori Takada’s Through The Looking Glass and Yasuaki Shimizu’s Kakashi.
