Industrial Film Screening At Festival

Film charting the history of industrial music to be screened tomorrow as part of East End Film Festival featuring Q&A and DJ set from Cabaret Voltaire's Stephen Mallinder

East End Film Festival kicked off yesterday and will be taking place across a number of venues in East London right through until Sunday July 12. One of its first events, taking place tomorrow at the Red Gallery, will be a screening of recent film Industrial Soundtrack For The Urban Decay.

The film, directed by Amélie Ravalec and Travis Collins, will be airing tomorrow night from 7.30pm, charting the history of industrial music and contextualising the work of such acts as Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire and Test Dept. The film’s airing tomorrow will be followed by a Q&A and DJ set from Cabaret Voltaire’s Stephen Mallinder and tQ’s own Mat Colegate will also be DJing as part of the screening.
